Batch 42 - Walpole Karri

Karri is a very special honey. It is totally unique to the South West of Western Australia. This batch is a 2019 harvest from the Mount Frankland National park near Walpole. These beautiful tall trees, which grow up to 90M typically only flower once every 5-7 years. The honey is light in colour, with a mild caramel taste. It is full of antimicrobial activity like many of our Eucalyptus honeys,

Karri is perfect for sweetening teas, but we recon the best way to enjoy its delicate flavour is by simply mixing with sparkling water over ice and maybe a slice of lemon as a refreshing drink. This way, you can really appreciate the honey and enjoy its full health benefits.
