Batch 25 - Madeley's Backyard (sold out)

We don't often get honey from the suburbs, but this one, with its warm summery flavour, is a real treat. This very limited batch is the first harvest of 2019 from our friend Peter's backyard beehives. The bees sourced the nectar from a medley of local flora with a lot foraged from the native gumtrees.

The best thing about a backyard honey is that it is like no other honey that has been or will be - the mixture of flowers and the proportions of nectar that the bees have chosen is a one time offer. The variety of backyard blooms have given this beautiful batch wonderful citrus and woody tones that are delicate and delicious.
