Batch No. 18 - Red Bottlebrush (sold out)

This batch, Red Bottlebrush is an incredibly unique honey with a really deep flavour profile, woody, herbal with a hint of toffee – it is an absolute favourite! Harvested from the pristine Moore River state forest in March by our good friend Colin. The Red Bottlebrush, or Calothamnus quadrifidus is a member of the Myrtle family and so the honey produced by the bee’s from this flower is not only delicious, it also has brilliant antibacterial properties as it contains anti-bacterial compound, Methylglyoxal. We love to enjoy it warm, with lemon in the colder months.
