Esperance Banksia Large 1kg - Batch 48
From the beautiful Margaret Cove region near Esperance on our Western Australian south coast.
The distinctive banksia speciosa flowers bloom all year here, but from spring to mid summer you see lots, and from them the bees produce this wonderful, light honey.
It is easy on the pallette, no strong flavours here just fresh and light honey - ideal for kids!
Banksia honey is very thick, and loves to set. We will make sure its runny when you get it, but if your jar sets, you can spread it on toast, or just scoop it out and enjoy it. If you prefer it runny - just warm the jar gently and it will go runny again.
Raw Honey - Crystallisation
All Nectar Honeys are all natural and completely raw. This makes them more susceptible to crystalisation. Don't worry though - crystalisation is reversible and is a perfectly normal process. If you receive a crystalised jar or your jar crystalises over time; simply tightly secure the lid and emerse the jar in a warm sink of water until the honey becomes runny once more.
